Competitive Overview

For the College Street Fighter Tour, competition will happen in two phases. During the Fall + Early Spring Semesters, competitors will  ‘Qualify’ into the Playoffs Stage of Competition via Qualification Events. Once Qualified, competitors will be split into 2 groups of 8 and compete in round-robin group play. In stage 1 of playoffs, this competition will determine the top 2 from each group that will automatically qualify for CECC. The bottom 2 from each group will be eliminated. The middle 4 of each group will then play in stage 2 of playoffs. The top 2 from the second stage will advance to CECC. There will be a Last Chance Qualifier stage to crown the last top 2 to advance to CECC. Once the top 8 are set from three qualifiers, they will get a chance to compete at College Esports’ biggest stage, the CECC May Madness 2025.
