Summer 2026 Internship – Sponsorship Valuation
Position Summary
The Sponsorship Valuation Intern supports the Business Intelligence team by assisting with the valuation of sponsorship assets across collegiate athletics, professional sports properties, and brand-side esports partnerships. This role focuses on structured data input, asset tracking, valuation support, and documentation to help produce accurate, scalable sponsorship valuation deliverables. The intern will not be responsible for building models independently but will work within established valuation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship Valuation Support
Assist with sponsorship asset valuation projects across:
Collegiate and professional sports properties (on-site and media assets)
Brand-side esports and gaming partnerships
Support the population of valuation models using defined inputs (attendance, viewership, exposure, duration, CPMs, etc.)
Help track asset inventory, assumptions, and inputs used in valuation exercises
Validate inputs against source data to ensure consistency and accuracy
Asset & Inventory Management
Organize and maintain sponsorship asset lists across properties and brands
Assist with categorizing assets by type (onsite, digital, media, social, experiential)
Support updates to asset inventories as scopes evolve
Help maintain standardized naming conventions and formatting across valuation files
Esports & Brand Partnership Support
Assist with valuation support for esports sponsorships on the brand side, including:
Streaming-based assets
Branded segments and integrations
Social and creator-driven assets
Help document asset definitions, exposure logic, and frequency assumptions
Support organization of campaign-level valuation summaries for brand partners
Presentation & Deliverables Support
Assist with translating valuation outputs into tables, charts, and slides
Support creation of rate cards, valuation summaries, and client-facing visuals
Ensure sponsorship valuation materials align with internal standards and methodologies
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in analytics, statistics, economics, finance, data science, or a related quantitative field
Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, lookups, aggregations)
Comfort working with structured datasets and analytical models
Strong attention to detail and ability to validate quantitative outputs
Ability to follow established analytical frameworks and document work clearly
Interest in sports analytics, sponsorship valuation, or esports analytics
Preferred but Not Required
Experience with sponsorship valuation, media analytics, or marketing analytics
Familiarity with impression-based valuation, CPMs, or media metrics
Experience working with large or complex spreadsheet models
Exposure to Python, R, or SQL (not required but viewed positively)
Learning Opportunities
