Collegiate Sports Management Group (CSMG) / EsportsU / CECC Policy
At Collegiate Sports Management Group (CSMG) / EsportsU / CECC, we are committed to fostering an environment of respect, integrity, and fair play for all participants. As such, we expect all players to adhere to the following code of conduct:
Respect: Treat all representatives of CSMG / EsportsU / CECC, press, viewers, partners, students, school staff and volunteers, and fellow players with respect, both in-game and across all forms of communication. Uphold the values of compassion, integrity, respect, and courage in all interactions.
Harassment and Hate Speech: Participants must not engage in any form of harassment or hate speech, including but not limited to offensive behavior related to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, nationality, appearance, age, or religion. This includes online stalking or intimidation, spamming, doxing, unwelcome sexual attention, and advocating for such behavior.
Penalties: Violation of this code of conduct may result in penalties, including exclusion from current tournaments, forfeiture of winnings, or disqualification from future CSMG / EsportsU / CECC events. Penalties may vary depending on the severity and frequency of the offense.
Insults and Offensive Behavior: Insults and offensive behavior, whether in-game or on external platforms, may result in penalties such as penalty points, match exclusions, or forum and comment bans. Severe incidents, including extremist statements, threats of violence, sexual harassment, stalking, severe insults, or pornographic content, will be dealt with accordingly.
Spamming: Excessive posting of futile, annoying, or offensive content within CSMG / EsportsU / CECC used platforms or platforms or games used constitutes spamming and will result in penalties ranging from written warnings to comment bans and penalty points.
Public Behavior: Participants must maintain positive public behavior at all times and refrain from actions that bring CSMG / EsportsU / CECC or any involved party into disrepute, scandal, or ridicule. This includes avoiding derogatory comments or actions aimed at CSMG / EsportsU / CECC, its partners, individuals, groups, or products in interviews, statements, during events, or on social media channels.
Matches and Competitions: All competitions must be played according to the rules until completion, with results accurately reported. Participants are prohibited from betting on matches in their own competition, and any breach of this rule will result in disqualification and potential bans.
CSMG / EsportsU / CECC is dedicated to promoting a positive and inclusive esports community, and all participants are expected to uphold these principles at all times.
