CSMG AND ST. BONAVENTURE UNIVERSITY PARTNER TO VALUE AND COMMERCIALIZE ITS JERSEY PATCH SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Integrated sports company to provide a data-driven valuation and sales support for the jersey patch asset across the university’s athletic programs
STAMFORD, Conn. and ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y.— July 15, 2026 — Collegiate Sports Management Group (CSMG) and St. Bonaventure University today announced a strategic partnership where the integrated sports, entertainment and media company will provide the university with an independent, data-driven valuation of its jersey patch sponsorship opportunity and provide support to the university during the commercialization process
As part of the partnership, CSMG’s Business Intelligence division is delivering a comprehensive valuation of the jersey patch asset across St. Bonaventure’s athletic programs. The analysis incorporates proprietary exposure modeling; broadcast and streaming distribution data; digital and social media reach; scheduling dynamics; and relevant market comparables. As collegiate athletics programs evaluate new commercial opportunities in response to increasing revenue challenges, independent valuation has become an increasingly important tool for establishing pricing strategy, partnership structure and long-term market positioning. Along with St. Bonaventure University, CSMG is providing data-driven valuation of athletic jersey patch sponsorship opportunities to a variety of Division 1 college athletic programs, including University of Arizona, College of Charleston and many others. "We are proud to partner with St. Bonaventure University to help them bring their athletic jersey patch opportunity to market," said CSMG Chief Executive Officer Michael Schreck. "St. Bonaventure is a widely respected Division I athletic program with a very rich basketball history and passionate fan base, and we will quantify the full scope of exposure and brand impact of their jersey patch and work together to secure the best fit for the partnership."
"We’re extremely excited to partner with College Sports Management Group. This collaboration will unlock unprecedented opportunities for our athletic programs, helping to elevate the St. Bonaventure brand, maximize our revenue, and provide our student-athletes with world-class support,” said Bob Beretta, vice president and director of athletics at St. Bonaventure University. “The team at CSMG features an innovative approach and industry expertise that will help St. Bonaventure successfully navigate this transcendent time in collegiate athletics."
