CSMG STRENGTHENS BUSINESS OPERATIONS AND ANALYTICS TEAMS WITH KEY PROMOTION AND NEW HIRES
ToniAnn Convertino elevated to Director of Business Operations; Shane Halpin named Manager, Business Intelligence; and Marc Sussman appointed Manager, OptiMatch
STAMFORD, Conn. — August 10, 2026 — CSMG (Collegiate Sports Management Group), an integrated sports, entertainment, and media company committed to advancing traditional sports and esports, today announced key appointments across its business operations and analytics teams. ToniAnn Convertino has been promoted to Director of Business Operations, while Shane Halpin and Marc Sussman have joined the company as Manager, Business Intelligence and Manager, OptiMatch, respectively.

Since joining CSMG in 2021, Convertino has built a track record internally and externally across Operations. She continues to play an instrumental role in the growth of CECC “May Madness”, managing partner relationships with schools, teams, players, coaches, and conferences, along with tournament rulesets and bylaws. In her expanded role as Director, Convertino will continue to support and streamline operations across CSMG’s media, Business Intelligence, analytics, and sponsorship sales teams.
Halpin joins CSMG as Manager, Business Intelligence, where he will conduct sponsorship asset valuations for brands, professional and collegiate sports properties, and multimedia rights holders, using metrics including social media impressions, TV viewership, CPM, and broadcast exposure. Additionally, he will support the development and expansion of CSMG's predictive modeling and analytics suite.
Halpin joins CSMG from the Washington Nationals, where he worked as a Minor League Video and Technology Associate, supporting the club’s Florida Complex League and Triple-A affiliate, the Rochester Red Wings, with data collection, video operations, and performance analytics. He previously interned in Finance and Data Analytics at Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. and in CRM at the Washington Nationals. Halpin is a double graduate of Syracuse University, where he received a Bachelor's in Sport Analytics and a Master's in Applied Data Science.
Sussman joins CSMG as Manager, OptiMatch, CSMG's scheduling and matchup intelligence platform, helping sports properties improve event performance through data-informed decision-making. The platform uses predictive modeling to provide partners with actionable insights into how potential matchups and schedule options, etc. Sussman brings experience in data management, AI integration, and analytics from his prior roles as a Data Manager at Erskine Financial Services and data analytics and cybersecurity internships at Intelisys and SMX.
